Importing in Data: Username mappings

The following outlines different mappings for usernames or by first and last name

The spreadsheet here shows that there is an "About" column in the spreadsheet that is being imported in. The About column lists the athlete name as First and Last Name in the same column.

When this spreadsheet is imported the First Column will be chosen but you will ALSO need to choose another identifier (as shown in the image below)

Add another identifier for the username mapping by clicking on "Add Identifier". Then choose Last Name and the names will map automatically

Save these identifiers so that you can use this mapping for future imports

You can click on "Save your username mappings" and then name the mapping. and click on "Save as New". This means the next time you import in data using first and last name in your spreadsheet, it will map correctly when you select this mapping.

The next time you import in data for athletes with a first and last name column, click on the saved mapping and it will load the correct identifiers and match the athlete accordingly
