New Field property to enable written text from a Scheduled Event to show on the calendar even if the event is NOT directly entered for the athlete
When an entry is booked for a user via the Schedule and Appointments modules, if the information is not entered about a specific athlete, the entry appeared as booked (to protect the anonymnity of the user who was booked for an appointment).
However, there are special cases where information from within an event form need to be displayed for ANYONE with access to that event form. For example a doctor of physio may need to block out part of their calendar, and include a note to staff and athletes about their unavailability. A new Advanced Form Property has been designed to enable this, however, it MUST be enabled carefully, and users in the organisation needed to be educated about the public nature of the field so as to avoid data security breaches.
When appointments are booked for or by an athlete, a coach or the athlete included in the booking can see the details of the event
"Schedule Calendar Summary Override" Advanced Form Property enables fields to display in the Calendar, even if the athlete doesn't have write access to that Event Form.
The following shows an example where Physio is unavailable to take appointments to attend a seminar, so they need to book out this time.
The physio books in the unavailable time for a Staff Admin user
The description entered in the "Reason" will show on the calendar
Shows the availability of Physio's
When an athlete logins to their system and wants to book in an appointment with that Physio, they can see that the Physio is booked and they can see the reason they are not availble
N.B. The Athlete needs to have read access to this form to see this entry. However, they will not be able to book this form in or see it in their calendar
