Custom Page Layouts that change a section with buttons to a Tab with dropdowns- beta version
Custom Page Layouts enable organisations to order modules in sections according to user's needs. Sections can now be changed to Tabs which appear at the top of the Home Screen.
Where the sections could be defined as being opened or closed, you can now define whether or not to set the section as a Tab
All of the Modules in that Section then become dropdowns that display when the Tab is selected
Note that if custom labels are set for the modules these appear in the drop downs
Set an many Sections to appear as Tabs as required and note that the Modules in each section appear as drop downs
WARNING: Do NOT enable more than 15 items in the list or you may not be able to scroll and it is not a good use of the Tabs. Set up another section instead.
Setting up too many items in the drop down may affect users ability to easily select items, and if too many are added, them may not be able to scroll down the page.
WARNING: Font Page Reports Do NOT appear for selection in the drop down. These ideally should be set up in a separate Section (not set as a Tab) that can be opened and closed accordingly
The example here shows that Front Page Reports are a module in the "Reports" section. However, as the section has been changed to a Tab there is no way for the Front Page Reports to display on the front page in that specific section. Instead, set up the report in a separate section which is not set as a Tab
