The Chart Styling changes can be applied on a Form by Form basis

Once you create a new Chart Property (as outlined in the prior lesson) this can be applied to a specific Event Form.

IMPORTANT: In the NEXT RELEASE users will be able to set up to 10 colours for each Chart Template to enable colouring of 1 to 10 time series charts within each chart. Alternatively, users will also be able to set the individual colours AND the chart line properties ( thickness, fill and transparency etc) for EACH field that is charted within each Event Form (this is set within the Event Form itself, NOT from the Chart Template).

Once an Chart Property is created, it can be applied to a single Event Form using the Advanced Form Property called Chart Properties

Any Layouts created in the Chart Properties will appear in the dropdown and can be applied to a specific Event Form.

The specific layout for that form will then load when the form or the athlete history for that form is viewed

All Other forms that do NOT have a specific template set for them will display the template applied for the entire application.

This image here shows the main layout for the system. Note, no border appears for the area in the chart, but is does for the form specific one in the image in the step above.

If the charts on your system are still displaying in the old style, this means a new default has not been set up for your organisation.

Note, not all charts will look good with the change, especially if data spans years and is intermittent.

To improve the layout, the form can set set to only show the last 1 or last 6 months using the Form Properties in the Builder. Then on the Athlete History Page, it will automatically limit it to the last 6 months which will help with the layout.
